NSE witnesses F&O turnover at Rs 879.22 bn

Index futures saw a trading volume of Rs 174,043.2 million arising out of 749,067 contracts and Index options saw 2,074,972 contracts getting traded at a notional value of Rs 525,465.7 million. The total turnover of the Futures & Options segment of the Exchange was around Rs 879,223.2 million.

Bulk Deals: TRF, IT People, Rana Sugars

Following bulk deals were transacted at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on June 09: Tata Steel sold 140,200 shares at Rs 870 a share of TRF. (BSE) Tata Steel sold 101,000 shares at Rs 870 a share of TRF.

Career Point to raise Rs 1.15 bn through IPO

The Rajasthan-based tutorial service provider Career Point Infosystems plans to raise Rs 1.15 billion through an initial public offer (IPO) to upgrade the infrastructure at the institute, reports agency sources. “We are planning to go public to raise Rs 1.15 billion and the issue is expected in 20 days,“ Pramod Maheshwari the CMD of the company said
